A friend of mine sent me a link to a great story the other day that I wanted to pass along.

Last week, the staff from Harvest Bible Chapel Orlando went on a retreat near Grand Rapids, Michigan. We enjoyed some great team-building, fellowship, worship and prayer time – not to mention some great weather, praise God!
It’s amazing to think that just a few years ago, there was no such thing as a staff of Harvest Bible Chapel Orlando. Now we’ve got lots of people on a retreat to reflect on and give thanks for how much God has blessed our church over the last few years, and to pray for His continued guidance for this community.
Stranger In This Land - A Video Shoot
October 27, 2011
We had an incredible day shooting the music video for 'Stranger In This Land' last week. Our 12-hour shoot began at sunrise in downtown Orlando, amid high rise buildings and dingy alleys. We shot a lot of film that morning and some of this I want to be a surprise, but I'll share in the climactic scene from the video I am literally wrestled to the ground by 20+ black clad 'extras' who represent the sin and suffering of this world. It was intense, and I have the bruises to prove it.
A Quick Recap
October 5, 2011
Thanks to everyone who sent prayers, comments and tweets of encouragement during my trip to Washington, D.C., last week. I hadn’t spent any time in our nation’s capital since a field trip in 8th grade, and like that trip, this one was seriously educational. I hope to be able to share more in the coming weeks, but wanted to provide you with a quick recap.
I spent most of the day in meetings with people who have dedicated their life’s work to promoting Biblical values and principles across our culture and in our government. Talk about living all-in for Christ!
Heading to Washington

Recently I’ve been reflecting a lot on Jeremiah 1:5, when God tells Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” What an amazing statement of God’s love for all His children, that He knows us and loves us even before He forms us in the womb. Elsewhere the Bible tells us that God loves us so completely that He has the hairs on our heads numbered.
