March for Life Recap
January 27, 2012
I’m back home and completely recovered (I think) from a full weekend in Washington, D.C., for the March for Life events. We flew in Saturday and headed straight to the hotel to check in and get some practicing in. We (the band and I) led worship and performed “Silent Cry” at the Students for Life conference and at the March for Life Rally on Sunday, and played for students at Paul VI Catholic High School in Virginia on Monday morning before the March for Life. The Rock for Life also played “Silent Cry” during the post-march webcast.

Recently I mentioned some exciting events were coming up in 2012. Well, the New Year has turned so I guess it’s time to share more information.
Robert speaks with Rock for Life
January 5, 2012
Robert took some time before Christmas to speak with Erik Whittington, founder of Rock for Life, whose mission is 'promoting human rights for all people, born and preborn, by engaging the culture through music and education.' Rock for Life's message is the personhood message that each and every person is a person from his or her biological beginning.

There’s a radio station here in Orlando that plays all Christmas music all the time for about a month leading up to Christmas. That might be a little overkill, but I do switch over every once in a while to get a dose of Christmas spirit.
Opportunities on the Horizon

This week, I had a chance to talk with Erik Whittington, the director of Rock for Life. RFL is a network of bands, musicians, artists and fans who are committed to promoting the sanctity of life. (We recorded a conversation for RFL’s National Pro-Life Youth Podcast, and I’ll be sure to post a link when it’s available.)
